Mapping Centre Questions

• How do I create a trade area? How can I check the trade area(s) I created on the map?

  To create a trade area: Mapping Centre → Trade Area → Create Trade Area → Create Trade Area Manually → Select a Trade Area Type → Click and draw the trade area on the map.

  To view the trade area created by map: Trade Area Analysis → View Trade Areas → Created by Map → You will see a list of trade areas created in the Mapping Centre.

• I want to combine multiple trade areas. What should I do?

  Mapping Centre → Trade Area → Combine Trade Areas → Check the trade areas that you want to combine → Select the approach: Union, Intersection or Subtraction → Click “Create Combination”.

• How can I create a heat map?

  Mapping Centre → Heat Map: Here you can either choose to load existing heat map or to create a new heat map from the customer file → Select the legend from 1. Data 2. Global Setting 3. Custom → Change the Radius Size or/and Opacity to adjust the presentation of your heat map.

• How can we search for businesses in different areas?

  There are three ways for us to search for the businesses in different areas.

  1. Mapping Centre → POI Analysis → AOI → Select a trade area → Click “Load” to load the business area → Select the Company Name(s) OR Select the Industry.
  2. Mapping Centre → POI Analysis → Subscribed → Select the Source → Modify Filters → Check the Pre-defined Market(s) → Select the Company Name(s) OR Select the Industry.
  3. Mapping Centre → POI Analysis → Subscribed → Select the Source → Modify Filters → Key in the Postal Code(s) → Select the Company Name(s) OR Select the Industry.
• How do I delete or rename trade areas or uploaded files?

  First go to Trade Area Analysis

  1. To delete multiple areas at a time, click on Trade Area Files or Trade Areas (Created by Map) to go to a page where you can select multiple items and delete or rename them

  2. Right click on the item you wish to delete.

• I can't load any heat maps. What should I do?

  Please check if your Adblock plug-in is on or not. If it is on, please deactivate it.
