Data Source
All information provided to Polaris Intelligence Inc. through surveys from our data partners such as Statistics Canada, Numeris, or any other source, does not contain any information that identifies an individual or group. Manifold keeps survey data confidential and does not disclose survey data to any individual or organization.
Data Product
Polaris only works with syndicated data and survey data without Private Information. All data products are estimates and projections derived from mathematical modelling. No data product contains any information that identifies an individual or group.
Data Security
Polaris takes reasonable steps to protect Private Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Polaris has implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial processes to secure Private Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Data Integrity
Manifold’s data products have been validated and refined continuously with thirty party surveys, government and industry publications.
Variables in our data products are coherent and the inherent structure is preserved at all geographic levels.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that our data is accurate, complete, current, and reliable for its intended and declared use only.
Data Suppression for Small Geographies
To protect confidentiality of small geographies, we do not release characteristics or tabulated data if the total number of households of the area is less than 50. In other word, a trade area should have at least 50 households.
Visiting Information
In general, we gather information about all of our users collectively, such as what areas users visit most frequently and what services users access the most. We only use such data in the aggregate. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users, and how we can continually create a better overall experience for our users.
Your Personal Information
In some instances such as the subscription areas of the site, we may need more specific information about you, such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number. We may use that information to make you aware of additional products and services which may be of interest to you, or to contact you regarding site changes.
Online Payment
We use Moneris Solutions, Canada’s largest payment provider and owned by Royal Bank of Canada and the Bank of Montreal, as our online payment processor. When you make a payment, you will leave our Site and be redirected to the Moneris’ secure payment procedure. Your payment is processed by Moneris Solutions and with highest level of security. Disclosure
We do not disclose about your individual visits to www.PolarisIntelligence.com, Private Information to any outside parties, except when we believe the law requires it.
